Students from the Department of Performing and Media Arts performed an original work inspired by Taiwanese calligrapher's Tong Yang-Tze's Immortal at the River on display at Cornell's Johnson Art Museum.

On Nov. 18, university leaders faculty, alumni, collaborators, and friends celebrated Cornell-China history and collaboration with two events in Beijing: an academic symposium and a Cornell-China forum.

Ying Hua, associate professor of Design and Environmental Analysis, has been named director of the Cornell China Center.

A $10 million gift from an alumnus will expand opportunities for Cornell students to study and explore the China and Asia-Pacific region and its global impacts.
